Export to image or SVG
Drop your diagram into a README, a wiki page, a slide deck, or a printout. DrawSQL exports raster images (WebP or JPG) and vector SVG, with a style picker so the output matches where it's going.
Exporting an image
In the diagram editor, click File → Export and pick Image.
Choose a style: Online docs or sharing (full color, just like your canvas) or Print (white background, no grid).
Click Start export — the image downloads automatically.
Under Advanced you can switch the format (WebP is the default — better quality at smaller file sizes; JPG for tools that don't take WebP) and the size. Large renders at higher resolution for print and high-DPI screens, and the modal shows you the exact pixel dimensions before you export.
Exporting SVG
🔒 SVG export is available on DrawSQL's paid plans.
Pick SVG in the export dialog for a vector file that stays sharp at any zoom — ideal for slides and printed docs. Choose a Transparent background to drop it onto any page, or White for printing.
Exporting part of the diagram
Multi-select the tables you want first (or a table group), then open the export dialog and switch the scope to Selected. Great for sharing one domain of a large schema without the noise around it.
