Sticky notes

Sticky Notes let you place free-form text annotations directly on the canvas. Use them to document decisions, call out important details, leave reminders for teammates, or label areas of your schema that need attention.

Adding a sticky note

1. Click Add Sticky Note in the toolbar (or press N).

2. Click on the canvas to place it.

3. Type your content in the left panel text area.

If you place a note over an existing group, it'll automatically become a child of that group—just like tables.

Editing and appearance

Click a sticky note to select it. The left panel lets you edit the content and customize how it looks:

• Color — pick from 8 pastel colors (default: warm yellow).

• Font size — S (16px), M (18px), L (20px), or XL (22px).

• Resize — drag any edge or corner handle.

Notes

• Sticky notes are visual only—they don't affect your database schema or exports.
